The annual Bangalow Christmas Eve Carnival was another successful event and everyone who came seemed to have a really good time. The street performers drew a big crowd, especially The Pitts (below) who were joined by their young son who seemed absolutely fearless. The Samba Blisstas added a Brazilian flavour and rounded off the evening with their usual parade.
It was a really family friendly evening with a happy and peaceful atmosphere. Despite the fact that alcohol was freely available there were no nasty incidents. Bangalow is to be congratulated – it is a great role model for public events. Brigitte Zeisig. Pics by Brigitte Zeisig and Judy Baker

In near perfect weather the Bangalow Christmas Eve Carnival went ahead with all the fun, excitement and community spirit that it’s famous for.
